About This Service
Straightforward answer: what Indiana Solar Quotes is, and isn’t.
What we are
Indiana Solar Quotes is a connection service. When you submit your details through this Site, we pass them along to solar providers who serve your area so they can follow up with you directly.
What we are not
We are not a solar installation company. We don’t design, sell, finance, or install solar systems, and we don’t employ solar technicians or sales staff. We don’t set installer pricing, and we don’t guarantee that any specific provider will contact you, or the outcome of any quote.
Why this site exists
Researching solar in Indiana means wading through a lot of outdated or generic content — including, as of 2026, a lot of pages that haven’t caught up to the federal tax credit change, or to Indiana’s own 2022 shift away from traditional net metering (see Incentives & Tax Credits). We built this Site to lay out what’s actually current, including how Indiana’s Excess Distributed Generation program and utility-by-utility differences work, and to make it easy to request information from a provider if you decide you want to.
How we’re compensated
We may receive compensation from solar providers or from our advertising network when you submit a request and are connected with a provider. This does not change what you pay for any solar system or service.
